About TopPeak.com

TopPeak is proud to introduce a new collection of high-quality cloissone lapel pins. These are unique impressions of all 54 of the peaks in Colorado over 14,000 feet. Increasing numbers of outdoor enthusiasts climb these mountains each year, and in 1999 over 200,000 hikers attempted to climb a 14er.

Dan and Marilyn Foster, who own the Mountain Chalet outdoor shop in Colorado Springs, produce the limited edition pins.

Artist, climber and graphic designer Lauren Giusti of Giusti Designs in Salida, Colorado worked on this project for nearly 2 years. Leslie Hibbard of Colorado Springs helped on the Ten Mile / Mosquito Range. Artist Max Eisele designed Grays and Torreys. Photographers Todd Caudle of Pueblo and Dan Heidenreich of Colorado Springs assisted with their magnificent images.

These collectible pins are made in Shanghai, China, a city known for artisans who make the dies these pins are struck from. The red "chop" on the card that holds each pin contains the Chinese characters for "highest peak".

The pins are available through outdoor specialty shops in Colorado as well as our web site, toppeak.com.
